Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of six players each, are separated by a net. The objective of the game is to score points by sending a ball over the net and ensuring that it lands within the opposing team’s court. Players primarily use their hands and arms to hit the ball, employing various techniques such as serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging. The game is played on a rectangular court, and points can be scored in several ways, including when the ball lands in the opponent’s court or when the opponent fails to return the ball properly. Volleyball can be played indoors on a court or outdoors on sand, as in beach volleyball. The sport emphasizes teamwork, communication, and strategy. It is popular worldwide and is played at various levels, from recreational play to professional competitions, including the Olympics.
